Terms of engagement
Thank you for being part of the World Health Organization (WHO) Global Health Workforce Network (GHWN) Education Hub community of practice.
This site is intended to facilitate discussions related to the vision and objectives of the Education Hub and the alignment of education and health. Please keep on topic and be respectful of others. To ensure the best possible experience for all members, we have established some guidelines for participation. In order to preserve a climate that encourages dialogue, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate membership in this community for anyone who violates these rules.
If you have questions or concerns, please contact fitzpatricks@who.int.
Engaging with the community
- This is a community of practice for everyone interested in aligning the education of health workers with health needs. * Contributors (authors) are solely responsible for their contributions, and readers are solely responsible for the interpretation of the posted content. The views expressed on the Education Hub EZCollab site are those of the authors and do not necessarily reflect those of WHO.
- You should use your best endeavours to ensure that any information you post is accurate and complete.
- WHO will regularly post new information as a discussion and ask you for your feedback. We all have different perspectives from our own experiences, countries, professions, and we can all learn from each other. Include a signature tag on all messages. Please include your name, affiliation, location
- The discussion boards are a source of information, and for open discussion with all members. Please start a new discussion forum post for a new topic. Please post your message or documents only to the most appropriate lists or libraries
- Only write messages which add to the body of knowledge. For example, do not ‘reply all’ with an acknowledgement or a thank you
- All users are required to provide a valid, current email address. We will not share your email addresses publicly. Your email address will be visible when you add a forum post. We encourage members to reply to individual members this way, rather than sending the message to the whole group.
- Please add relevant meetings, conferences, consultations and publication launches to the calendar, along with information around how others can be involved
- Please review and add to the information and documents hosted in the libraries. You can 'check out' a document from the library to work on it temporarily, which will prevent others from making changes in parallel. When you 'check in' the document, please write a note explaining the amends. The version of the document and its history is stored.
- Use caution when discussing products or commercial ventures. Information posted in the discussion forums and in the libraries is available for all to see, and comments are subject to libel, slander, and antitrust laws. Contact people directly with product and service information if you believe it would help them
- Remember that WHO and other members have the right to display, copy, publish, distribute, transmit, print or reproduce postings unless you specify otherwise
- You can choose whether to receive email notifications immediately, daily, weekly, monthly or not at all in My Account > Settings. Notifications are sent about any new information on the site (forum post, library document, or calendar event)
- The WHO Education Hub operates in English
By using this site, you agree that you will not post, publish or submit as work any of the following:
